Julie Hansen’s mission is to help salespeople create a “near” in-person experience for buyers by adapting the proven methods actors and other on-camera professionals use to engage and build personal relationships with audiences. She is the creator of the Selling On-Video Master Class, which provides this specialized skill set and techniques she learned as an actor performing in over 50 commercials and television shows, including HBO’s Sex & the City to the practicalities of selling in a virtual world.

Julie is also the author of ACT Like a Sales Pro!, Sales Presentations for Dummies, and the soon-to-be-released ACT Like a Virtual Sales Pro!

Prior to that, Julie held sales roles as an award-winning individual contributor and a sales leader in media, technology, and real estate.

I felt the same way as an actor struggling to transition from the stage to screen.  My first few auditions were disasters.  I didn’t make a single dollar until I enrolled in some on-camera training and learned the techniques necessary to really connect with other people through the camera. Soon I was booking roles in national television commercials, films and television shows, including HBO’s “Sex and the City.”

After the pandemic, I sprung into action after watching the entire sales community struggle with these same challenges. The Selling On Video Master Class and Workshops were designed to help sellers apply the proven video techniques used in film, television, and broadcasting, to the practicalities of selling in a virtual world.
